"N4G admins need to take a long hard look at what meta critic is doing, same should apply to these comment zones. LBP looks like a great game with lots to offer, it does not take a degree in rocket science to see this, and it`s still a day one purchase for me, despit the User score which is clearly exagerated. But what happened on Metacritic is proof of the bad image fanboyism can give to the gaming community as a whole. Creating an open zone to let this live in does not help the problem...
I dont think anyone with a head thinks that the DLC created for the XBOX is free. And no I don't believe MS paid Eidos to do this either.
The one thing you forget is that Eidos charges for the DLC content that you get off of XBL. That is where their incentive to provide it to MS is.
So with your thinking, PAIN, PixelJunk games, and that horror game I can get off of PSN is there only because SONY paid those developers $$ to only bring those games to PSN?? No, those develo...
Tomb Raider games are very similiar to Uncharted. It just Uncharted took what TR had and made it better.A lot better.
TR : Anniversary was a decent game. It took the original TR game and brought it to the current gen game platforms.

to me when I see laser sights thru walls, shadows from another player one floor above me, and the developer not anticipating this huge influx of players onto their servers is kinda of delivering a broken product.
and dont get me wrong. even though i complain i am still playing and enjoying the game. but i see it for what it is.

Sony doesnt require developers to include trophies, were as MS require that each game has achievements. At the same time, if Bethseda was putting in 360 achievements how hard would it be to copy those same ones and add it to the PS3 version?? That is lazy.
well reviews are done on the delivered product, not promises of future fixes.
I mean we all know the game was delivered broken.
What would be nice is if these reviewers went back after a few more patched and did a "review revisited" article. Doing a re-review to say. And comment on the game on the "as is now" status VS the "was then" status of the game.

when you look at the big picture, thru non fan boy glasses. you will see that SONY has to make money off of PSN somehow. why? if you can imagine all the work and amount of money SONY is throwing at PSN. And even more money is required to bring us HOME. Some where SONY has to recover that money.
i have yet to buy a small transaction on PSN or XBL. but i have spent money on such things as map packs, new race tracks, etc...

Doesnt matter to me who sold more then the other two. But what is so great about it, is that brings out all the fanboys (sony or ms, doesnt matter). And I love reading all the spin, the back peddling. Some of the predicitions, "I predict this and that!!!" How can you predict what another human being is going to do???

Last night was very frustrating for me since this was to be my 1st time playing SOCOM and I was truly exicited!!! It was a let down thats all.
Hopefully by this weekend I can play some!!!
when I buy a game for $60 that is online only, I expect it to work. getting the "utilization failed" error all last night was frigging annoying!!!!
I still have the original XBOX game. And prior to GTA4 launch, I played GTA SA for about 8 hours. And yes it was more superior in some aspects the GTA4. Graphically SA was like poo though??
I remember that. If you played your buddies map, you had to DL it to your hard drive. Then you could play it. But I doubt there will be like a "top ten maps" choice out there for the 360 at least.
